@sabbate:
That is indeed wrong (and and should not happen).

Are you able to correct this yourself manually or do you need some help with that ?

(it is simply a change of the path, so wherever it is set you need to change it).

Just to make sure: you have installed two (dedicated) partitions ? (one called AROS: and another one called WORK:)

@jman:
If nothing changed in between then the Development just is part of the root dir on sys/dh0. So it would be installed when selected during installation (just checked on 1.3.3). So the full path becomes AROS:Development/bin/gcc with ofcourse a path to the bin directory.

I have no idea what could be wrong here. It could perhaps be that the startup-sequence does not add an entry later to check if development exist. But when doing a real fresh install (with wipe/format) should not suffer from it.

red: checked some stuff and adjusted post accordingly

Hai creato la partizione Work:?

Sorry for the english sabbate,

Also for icaros 1.4 you can install the development package during installation (not sure it is on the CD and if it requires the DVD).

The most probable reason you get this errormessage is because the paths are not set correctly. The aros installer does this automatically for you (when you have installed the development package).
