I have another model of satellite (the 1410) notebook computer. it boots and runs fine with The Aros Live CD. I won't be installing it onto the hard drive till partitioning for windows and AROS(native) can go on the same drive with an automated installer though..

Check the webpage for who makes the laptop. They may have BIOS updates that fix the trouble. If you do a search on Toshiba Satellite 220 drivers, you get pages like this one:

http://www1.vobis.de/bbs/firmen/toshiba/sat/

It has a PnP BIOS file for the 220. You might check if it's newer than what you have.

If you have tested every graphic mode and you have access to its BIOS, why not tweak with the harddisk mode (LBA)?

Hey, i´m trying to boot the floppy version of aros in this computer, but, after selecting the video mode, the screen sits in black and nothing happened. The machine is a pentium 133 with 16mb of ram. Is this enough to boot aros?.
I´m trying to boot with floppy because this laptop don´t have a cdrom drive. The floppy used boots perfectly on my other machines.
Thanks in advance.

P.D: ??t´s very urgent!!!!! Iwant to install aros on the harddisk and use this laptop exclusive with aros!!!!!
