The documentation takes a pretty low priority, the switches will be the same as Quake on Amiga though (hence the CGFX switch for Cybergraphics).

Quake works fine with the registered pak on my system. Just remember to add memory to it. I launch quake using:

quake -cgfx -winsize 960 720 -mem 16

And yes, it IS -cgfx, not -cgx.

And for Quake you should increase stack size before launching it. Open a shell and type

stack 100000
quake -cgfx

The "-cgfx" (or was it "-cgx"?)is to avoid color messup on wb screen.

Hi, hello to all. My main question is that i have suse linux 9.0 installed, the latest drivers for my graphic card(fx5700) and the linux hosted version of aros, but doom or quale refuses to launch. Doom tells me that there is not enough memory?!?!? I Have 512MB of ram!!!!.
Quake tells me a segment violation error.
I have tried with the latest nightly build and the snapshot, but nothing worked. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

P.D The computer have a AMD 3000+ processor
