There most certainly are such buggs as ive tested AROS on a LOT of machnines from time to time and on about 2/5 of them i could never reach the WB screen.

Hosted AROS defaults to 4M of RAM and runs fine. You can't run DOOM or Quake, but AROS itself works fine. I can't imagine the native version needing more the 4M minimum to boot to Wanderer.
There have been reports of AROS not booting all the way to the workbench from various people at times. Recently, I couldn't get AROS past IPrefs loading on hosted mode. I haven't looked into that more, but I think their are minor bugs in the system that sometimes combine to prevent AROS from reaching the wb screen.

I could be wrong but I think the min recommended ram for Aros is 32megs or maybe 64megs.

Hello to the forum. I?m trying to boot from the floppy, but the only option that seem work is selecting 640x480 4bpp(not vesa) and the screen tell the following:
AROS - The Amiga Research OS Compiled Oct 21 2004 Coying multiboot information into storage Done Clearing system area...OK System restored Interrupts redirected Reallocating ExecBase...Clearing FastMem... And then, don?t go further. It seems to stop here. The other options only show me a black screen. The computer is 16mb ram Pentium 133mhz that i think is enough to run aros native. Any clues? Thanks in advance.
