Bounty Submissions::VIA Nic Driver
It behaved differently this time: you can see that the driver was configured after startnet (the address was filled in and there was a time for the last start). That's why the CONFIG command failed by the way.

If you're using DHCP, the packet count shouldn't be zero. However, if you're using a manual configuration, you might need to do something like running ping to hopefully generate some traffic, before running the STATUS command.

Bounty Submissions::Spam
I doubt that, or if it is, there are definitely more disgruntled amiga user, since I definitely notice differences between spam accounts.

The location of the IP of the spam you replied to was one of the Netherlands, that is assigned to a Russian hosting company. With a squid proxy server listening on port 80 5555 7777 and 55555. And a deserted apache server on port 8080.

But the spamming is getting really frequent now. I've block quite a few e-mail hosts that have been used for spamming and isn't used for legitimate mail.

Most of these accounts are very easy to detect before they even posted something. So I could quite easily block them out automagically; I've just been too lazy to do it. But now it's getting to a point where I'm deleting around 30 spam accounts a day, and like 3-5spam messages daily. So I'll find a more permanent solution.

Bounty Submissions::Bounty to extend Workbook to replace 3.1.
Workbook is AROS 68k minimalistic desktop. Today its usability is quite limited. This bounty aims at extending the available functions to become a replacement of Workbench as found in AmigaOS 3.1

Bounty will be completed when these functionalities are available in Workbook:

Support standard .info files
Manually position & snapshot icons and windows
Drag & drop icons to copy/move
Make new directories
Delete files & directories
Rename files & directories
View/edit file information/tooltypes
Leave out/put away
Make Show All Files/Show Only Icons work as per description

This functionality needs to be available in the ROM version of Workbook, that is
booting a disk only containing LoadWB command will allow usage of Workbook with
these functionalities.

Additionally the following functionalities can be added at the discretion of the developer:

Support for ToolMenu
List-view mode (view + manage files as in icon mode)

These functionalities are not required to mark bounty as completed.

Please support this bounty:
http://www.power2people.org/projects/profile/76

it is the chance to get a replacement of 3.1. even for low-spec amigas

Bounty Submissions::Bounty for LLVM port, Phase 1
Thanks for the info and opinion(s) samurai.

The whole point of my remarks concerning incompatibilities like mentioned was that a) there is no point in trying to convert those as they would only run on their respective platform(s) that support that kind of functionality and b) the ones that are written friendly enough would probably benefit more from having a source so that it can be re-compiled using another backend in the compiler that produces more acceptable/friendly code/source.

Unfortunately i still haven't got any (hands on) experience with llvm to make a fair judgment for projects like bernd's (so i stick to what i do know ).
